Why is my shopping cart empty even though I have added a product to my shopping cart?
You have cookies disabled in your browser. Our site uses cookies to tell you apart from other users on our web site. Cookies allow us to see what items you have added to your shopping cart, and to process your online orders etc. If cookies are not turned on in your browser, then you will not be able to add items to your shopping cart or purchase products. Our cookies do not store any information on you apart from the necessary minimum (a unique identification number) to tell you apart from everyone else. All of your personal details remain secure as your name, address etc are NOT transmitted via the cookie.
What payment methods do you accept?
On our web site direct payment is VISA or MasterCardas well as PayPal. If preferred, you can specify off-line payment by Cheque, Money Order or Direct Deposit.
Most personal and company cheques can take up to 5 business days for clearance.
I do not have a credit card, can I still place an order?
YES! We do accept all cheques and money orders. Just click on the ORDER button next to the product you would like to purchase, and follow the checkout procedure. You will be offered the option to pay off-line by cheque, money order or direct deposit.
Your personal banking details are NOT required at the checkout.
If paying by cheque or Australia Post Money Order, please make cheque payable to NORTHWOOD TOOL COMPANY PTY LTD , print a copy of your receipt after completing your purchase in the checkout pages, and send together with your cheque to:

How do I add items to my shopping cart?
You can add items to your shopping cart by either using our search engine to find the item(s) that you wish to purchase or by browsing through our categories and/or our website. Once you find an item(s) you'd like to buy, simply hit the "Order" button next to the item(s) you are interested in to add the selected item(s) to your shopping cart. At this point, you can change the quantity of items you'd like to order, delete an item, empty the shopping cart, continue shopping, or check out.
Is the ordering process secure?
YES! Our website at no time requires you to enter credit card numbers. Instead at the appropriate step, you will be redirected to our bank secure site to enter your details. This means we NEVER see your credit card information.
Does my order include the 10% GST?
Prices shown for all products we sell are inclusive of GST, we are happy to confirm International prices if requested, GST at 10% means you can divide by 11 and get the GST amount to deduct.
How much do you charge for shipping and handling?
For items under 20kg or packages of several items where each is under 20kg, the shipping cost will be advised during the checkout process before payment details are entered. Thus if the shipping cost is unsatisfactory, you can elect to stop the process. Where items are over 20kg, or are too long or large for post shipping, freight costs need to be advised to you, the customer prior to payment.This is done by direct phone or email contact. Accordingly, you must provide a phone number and/or email for us to call, so the order can be accepted as a quote order..
For courier/freight company deliveries, customers must provide a shipping address and contact where someone will be there to accept the goods delivered.
For legal and insurance purposes, the goods cannot be left at an unattended location.

How do I get my shipping information once my order is dispatched?
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email or fax to the address you have provided us with shipping information. Please be advised that for security reasons, we can only email/Fax shipping information to the address on file with your order.
How do I receive technical support on my purchase?
Generally, most manufacturers are very conscious of the need to provide a high caliber warranty service. However, sometimes its hard to get the help you need, particularly if a face to face meeting would shorten the problem solving procedure. You can call for support on 07 3888 6530 and if we are unable to answer the call immediately, leave a message which will be returned same day if at all possible.
And there is nothing more frustrating than taking that shiny new tool into the workshop, to see it disappear a few days later broken or faulty, away for maybe several weeks, just for a warranty repair.
So we are more than happy to try and help with advice and guidance. Please note if deemed a warranty issue, most manufacturers DO NOT authorise us to process the warranty request on their behalf. Please do not insist, as refusal may offend. If you find you're not getting the results you expect, or have a problem with the use of your tool, you can call us anytime, FREE, and we will always do our best to find the answer, or someone who has it.
